On The Harbour
As the name suggests...it is! This cottage is uniquely situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and therefore offers unrivalled and enviable views of the estuary and Amble's historic harbour.
The view from the raised terrace has to be experienced to be believed. Put your feet up with a warm drink or even have your supper with family on the terrace and soak up the coastal scene. It is certainly one of our 'happy places'!!
While renovating the cottage we watched harbour scenes of the ITV series "Vera" being filmed!
The house is moments away from fabulous award-winning restaurants and cafes. The property was also very recently refurbished to create a cosy, warm space for your and your family to relax in after a long day of exploring.
Accommodation
On The Harbour sleeps 4 across two bedrooms. There is one king-size bedroom and one Large sofa bedroom. The rest of the cottage includes well-equipped kitchen, cosy lounge with wall-mounted TV and dining table, and shower room.
There is an enclosed yard to the rear which leads to raised decking, giving the best views in Amble over the Harbour, up the estuary towards Warkworth and the Castle.
